I’ve decided to post most of the content planned for this blog on Facebook instead, so feel free to visit me there.

Corrections
February 15, 2010: My apologies for the typos in the first books to come off the presses. They are the result of rushing to get the book into print by Christmas. If you purchased a book with typos and would like to have it replaced, just let me know. I’d be happy to do so.
February 19, 2011: On page 137, I contrasted the Greek words κοινωνός and κοινωνία, while writing that the second of these “explicitly signifies an intimate type of relationship.” This is true, but a scholar was kind enough to point out to me that so does the first word. This error is tangential and does not affect the overall point that is made. The sentence containing the error will be removed in future printings.
Contact
Your comments and questions are welcome, so feel free to write. I am available for speaking engagements, but my work schedule is very active, so please provide the date and location.
A word to critics: Please read the book before writing to me, because we can’t have a substantive discussion based on innuendo. Note that once your words enter my inbox, they are fair game and may be posted and refuted. Also, please document your assertions with quotations from primary sources as I have done in this book. If you do not take the time to do this, I probably will not take the time to reply. On the other hand, if you have something substantive and verifiable to say, by all means, please write. I consider people who share truth with me as friends, and unlike many, I genuinely appreciate when people point out my mistakes. This is one of the best ways to learn.
